They're always up for a good time, and Kate Hudson and Alex Rodriguez were spotted living it up at the 2009 American Music Awards last night (November 22).

The "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" actress and her Yankees stud chilled out backstage at the Nokia Theatre, hanging out with Stacy "Fergie" Ferguson.

During the show, Kate and her "Nine" costar Nicole Kidman introduced the Black Eyed Peas performance, while A-Rod did the honors for a Jay-Z/Alicia Keys combo "Empire State of Mind."

After all of the AMA action, Kate and Alex joined the Black Eyed Peas at the Los Angeles Lakers game followed by dinner at Katsuya.

Getting her day started early, Katie Holmes was spotted out and about in New York City earlier today (February 9).

The 31-year-old actress bundled up for the chilly Big Apple temperatures as she made her way around the bussling city, not seeming too thrilled when the photogs caught up with her.

As previously reported, Ms Holmes, husband Tom Cruise, daughter Suri and son Conner all spent this past Sunday in Miami, FL at the Super Bowl.

On Saturday, Katie and Tom stepped out for some pre-Super Bowl adult fun; they hit up a party and mingled with fellow celebs such as Cameron Diaz, Derek Jeter, Carrie Underwood and Alex Rodriguez, among others.

Still in the media, Tiger Woodsand Elin Nordegren's reverend, Ricky Kirton, wanted to give the couple advice. "Forgive each other. Be there for each other, and it will work out."

The reverend hasn't spoke to the pair since their wedding in 2004, but says the couple was "charismatic" and "attractive" and also were much in love.

Before the two gave their vows, the reverend did offer pre-marital counseling, that they declined, but he says that he did talk to them during the ceremony about making a marriage work that included communication, trust, forgiveness and "putting the past away." Kirton tells all couples, "I tell them to remain true to their vows. I want them to know this is serious and they have to work hard."

Something he also offered was, "Remember these four phrases," he says. "I was wrong. I am sorry. Please forgive me. I love you."

Expanding her reality TV career, Whitney Port was spotted filming a commercial in New York City's SoHo district on Monday (February 8).

The 24-year-old star looked stunning in a dress, cardigan and high boots as she followed instructions from the commercial crew.

In related news, Ms Port has been keeping busy filming for the upcoming season of "The City."
